Restoration of the façade of the Mercè Church in Barcelona

 

 

Client: Moët & Chandon

Goals: Create a positive attitude in Spain toward the French champagne brand, Moët & Chandon, and thus neutralize the antipathy caused by the launch of its cava brand, Chandon.

Strategy: Sponsor the façade restoration of the Església de la Mercè in Barcelona as part of the Barcelona Posa´t Guapa (Barcelona Get Smart) campaign. Creation and running of a press office with the purpose of seeking and creating opportunities for highlighting news items related to the progress of the restoration.

Impact: Increased sympathy on the part of the Catalan public toward the new cava brand. Significant media impact.
